A 37-year-old man suspected of a terrorist attack in the center of Dnipro has been taken into custody. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of arrest for 60 days without the right to post bail.

The court has arrested a 37-year-old man suspected of committing a terrorist act in the center of Dnipro, which led to the death of a person. This is reported by UNN with reference to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

"At the request of the prosecutor's office, a preventive measure has been chosen for him - detention without bail for a period of 60 days", the message says.

On December 14, 2024 at 14:45 in Dnipro, near the administrative building, an explosion occurred. As a result of the terrorist attack, a man died. One more man and two policemen who were on duty at that time were seriously injured. Later, the Dnipro police detained a suspect in the terrorist attack.

Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a 37-year-old citizen detained in Dnipro was notified of suspicion of committing a terrorist act that led to the death of a person (Part 3 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
