"In the context of the intensification of the enemy's offensive actions, I emphasized the need to strengthen the protection of weapons and military equipment, accelerate the restoration of damaged weapons and military equipment and their return to combat missions," Syrskyi wrote following the opening of the Logistics Forces Command conference on the organization and repair of weapons and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Rapid execution of work, improving quality standards of repair, effective asymmetric solutions to counter enemy FPV drones, implementation of new technical solutions - these should be our responses to the challenges of modern warfare," Syrskyi noted.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that "the Ukrainian army is increasing its capabilities in the field of strike drones, including those with fiber-optic control, as well as interceptor drones and electronic warfare equipment." According to him, domestic defense industry enterprises are actively working on this.
"In addition, we need to improve logistical and combat support to make the delivery of our servicemen to the front lines in armored vehicles faster and safer," Syrskyi added.
Separately, Syrskyi emphasized the growing role of the private sector, which is rapidly adapting to the needs of the army, particularly in the field of repairing foreign-made weapons and military equipment.
