Kyiv law enforcement officers detained a 36-year-old resident of Dnipro in one of the hotels in the Holosiivskyi district, who stabbed his neighbor in the room. This is reported by UNN with reference to the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv.

The victim turned out to be a 51-year-old resident of Vinnytsia region. According to the investigation, his minor daughter mistook the door and accidentally entered the neighboring room.
The man who was there began to scold the girl. Frightened, she ran to her room and told her father everything. To sort out the situation, the man went to the neighbor. However, a conflict immediately arose between them, during which the suspect took out a knife and stabbed the victim in the stomach. The man was hospitalized with a penetrating wound
The detainee was notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - intentional grievous bodily harm. The sanction of the article provides for up to eight years of imprisonment.
