Spanish police arrived at the headquarters of the ruling Socialist Party in Madrid on Wednesday under a court order to collect information regarding a possible illegal financing scheme, Reuters reports, according to UNN.

A spokesperson for the Civil Guard told Reuters that officers entered the premises but did not disclose any further details as the proceedings are classified.
As reported by El País, law enforcement officers are also searching the homes of former Socialist leaders and businessman Pérez Dolset, who is also under investigation.
