A flash mob by students of a high school in Bratislava called “Pensioners Love Fika” has been a success on social media in Slovakia. Although most people see Halloween costumes as harmless fun, the group of teenagers apparently struck a nerve with Slovak Interior Minister Matusz Szutai Esztok.

What happened recently in one of Bratislava's high schools... is a continuation of the growing tension in society, which, thanks to progressive politicians, has already reached schools

- Shutai Ashtok said in a video posted on Facebook on Sunday evening.

The principal of the gymnasium whose students wore the masks told ta3 TV that there was no bullying. According to him, the choice of costume was a manifestation of good humor.

“Our students are young people with their own opinions, who regularly prove their involvement with the older generation by working in the local cultural center,” he said. However, the school has received dozens of messages and even threats.
