A gunner who collected data on the Prydniprovska TPP and its protection to pass this information to the Russians for missile strikes was exposed in the Dnipro region. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison for his actions. This was reported by the SBU press service, UNN reports.
According to the SBU materials, a traitor who guided Russian missiles at the Prydniprovska TPP and "hunted" for air defense systems will spend 15 years behind bars. ... The offender was fulfilling the aggressor's task of adjusting missile strikes on the military and energy infrastructure of Ukraine. Among the main targets of the enemy was the Prydniprovska thermal power plant.

According to the investigation, a man who worked in logistics at a local pharmaceutical company was working for Russian military intelligence. The Russians recruited him through a popular messenger where he posted anti-Ukrainian comments. The traitor collected intelligence during the delivery of medicines to pharmacies in the region.
In particular, to help Russia strike at Ukrainian targets bypassing air defense, the agent tried to identify the combat positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' anti-aircraft missile systems. SBU counterintelligence detained him in January 2023 when he was conducting additional reconnaissance near a potential target.
During the searches in the traitor's apartment, they found cell phones from his correspondence with the curator of the GRU (General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces - ed.)
Based on the SBU materials, the court found the Russian agent guilty under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
