A Tu-95 military aircraft in Engels, used for Russian missile strikes on Ukraine, was destroyed by the SBU forces, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on Friday on social media, writes UNN.
"I am grateful to our warriors for their precision. There have again been successful long-range sanctions against Russia for this war. In particular, a Tu-95 military aircraft in Engels, used for Russian missile strikes on our country, was destroyed by the SBU forces. The distance from our state border is about 800 kilometers. We are defending ourselves justly and actively. There were also strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on objects of the Russian oil industry and on designated targets in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
