Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine has been ongoing for 1,569 days, exceeding the duration of the First World War. This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications, according to UNN.
Details
The Center recalled that during the 1,569 days of the First World War, 38 states participated in hostilities, approximately 20 million people died, and four empires ceased to exist, including the Russian Empire. The conflict resulted in a significant redrawing of the political map of the world.
At the same time, during the same period of the war against Ukraine, Russia, according to the Center for Strategic Communications, has failed to achieve any of the goals it declared at the beginning of the invasion.

From UNN, we add that the current war has already surpassed the duration of several major conflicts of the 19th and 20th centuries. In particular, it has lasted longer than the Franco-Prussian War, the Italo-Ethiopian War, the Gulf War, the Falklands War, as well as the Korean War and the American Civil War.
At the same time, if the count of Russian aggression begins from the start of the occupation of Crimea and the instigation of the war in Donbas in 2014, the confrontation has been ongoing for over 12 years and totals more than 4,400 days. By this calculation, Russia's war against Ukraine already exceeds the duration of the First and Second World Wars combined, remaining one of the longest and largest military conflicts in modern European history.
