On the evening of November 14, Odesa suffered a massive combined enemy attack. Russian missiles hit cultural heritage sites protected by UNESCO, UNN reports, citing the Ministry of Culture.

According to the agency, the occupiers' attack damaged cultural heritage sites located within the endangered World Heritage Site "Historic Center of Odesa" and its buffer zone:

On January 25, at the 18th extraordinary session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, the Historic Center of the Port City of Odesa was inscribed on the List of World Heritage in Danger to preserve Ukrainian cultural heritage. The decision of this year's 46th meeting of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee confirmed the status of this site on the list.
