The CCD of the National Security and Defense Council also noted that Russian propagandists are throwing fabrications about "military targets" into the information space in order to shift responsibility for the destruction of civilian infrastructure to the Ukrainian military.

As a result of the Russian attack on Sumy, 88 people are known to have been injured, including 17 children. Houses, educational and healthcare facilities were damaged, and a help center was organized.
