Russia intends to lift the ban on diesel fuel exports after stabilizing the domestic market, while restrictions on gasoline exports are planned to be maintained until the end of the year. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, Bloomberg reports, writes UNN.

According to Novak, the ban on diesel fuel exports will be gradually lifted to prevent oversaturation of refineries and a reduction in processing volumes.

Novak said that the situation on the fuel market is gradually stabilizing, as a number of refineries have already resumed operations, and the supply of gas stations has "significantly improved."
At the same time, the government is discussing additional fuel supplies to Siberia, where the situation remains difficult. According to him, part of the deficit could be covered by supplies from Kazakhstan, although the surplus fuel in that country is insignificant.
