He announced that tomorrow's meeting of leaders will focus on control, monitoring and support for compliance with the ceasefire, as well as security guarantees for Ukraine.

He assured that France will continue its efforts, doing so in coordination with the Americans and in agreement with the Europeans.

During a joint press conference with Zelenskyy, Macron stated that if a peacekeeping mission is created after the end of the war in Ukraine, it will not directly protect the border with the Russian Federation, but will become the second line of defense. At the same time, foreign contingents will be stationed at strategic bases to deter possible aggression.
