President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that over the past week, Russia launched up to 1,900 drones, as well as up to 60 missiles and up to 1,400 KABs (guided aerial bombs) against Ukraine; the drone shoot-down rate is over 90%, but this percentage must be constantly increased, including for ballistics, he wrote on social media on Monday, UNN reports.
Over the past week, Russia launched about 1,900 strike drones, nearly 1,400 guided aerial bombs, and about 60 missiles of various types against Ukraine
According to him, "this underscores how timely the partners' new contributions to the PURL program are, as well as the approval of the EU's 20th sanctions package and the 90 billion euro European support package in Cyprus."
Our air defense system is already demonstrating a very high percentage of drone shoot-downs – over 90%. And we need to work on ensuring that this percentage constantly grows, not only in shooting down drones but also ballistics. Every additional delivery of air defense missiles means lives saved, better-protected cities, and critical infrastructure
