The premiere of the documentary "Eyes on Ukraine" took place at the UN headquarters in Bonn on the eve of World Aids Day on December 1.

It is reported that the film consists of stories of several young Ukrainians with HIV. They teamed up in the Teenergizer project to use photography to talk about their diagnosis, overcome psychological problems and stigma.

The main character of the film is 26 - year-old founder of Teenergizer Yana Panfilova. She was born in Kiev, HIV was transmitted to her from birth. Yana's mother said that until 2004, there was no single HIV treatment program in Ukraine, everyone coped with it independently. One day, the parents of a classmate who was visiting Yana called her and complained that now the whole family was forced to be tested for the virus.

In a video message to the audience, executive producer Richard Gere said that there are about 260 thousand people with HIV in Ukraine. "Thousands of them have left the country and are living as refugees, but at the same time continue to need treatment and support," the actor said. He called for a" fair end to this mad war "and"the right of people living with HIV to a free life without stigma.
