Two criminal proceedings have been opened over the events near the TCR in Kovel, Volyn region, where people gathered on August 3, the regional police department reported on Monday, UNN reports.

The police stated that on that day, the police received a report that several dozen people had gathered near the premises of the local TCR express dissatisfaction with the work of the Armed Forces unit.
Police units were sent to the scene to protect public order. The police investigative team was also working.
At present, law enforcement officers continue to identify the participants in the incident, interview witnesses and find out other details of the incident.
Criminal proceedings were opened over this fact under Part 1 of Article 295 (Calls for actions that threaten public order) and Part 1 of Article 293 (Group violation of public order) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigative actions are ongoing.
