The idea of introducing external management in Ukraine was not discussed during telephone contacts between Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russian media report, reports UNN.

Answering the question whether Trump and Putin discussed the idea of introducing external management in Ukraine, Peskov answered in the negative.
"During the telephone conversations we informed you about, this topic was not raised. However, indeed, this is a fact that the President spoke about," Peskov said.

Earlier, Putin proposed introducing temporary management in Ukraine for the purpose of elections.
