In Odesa, police officers removed an enemy drone that got stuck in a wall at the 15th-floor level after striking a residential high-rise building. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa region, according to UNN.
Details
It is noted that the 50-kilogram warhead of the "Shahed" did not detonate and continued to pose a deadly threat to residents.
To neutralize it, explosives technicians from the Main Directorate of the National Police, together with SES specialists, conducted a unique and highly complex special operation that required maximum concentration and complete synchronicity of actions
Specifically, SES workers deployed a cranked lift, which the head of the explosives service of the Odesa National Police used to reach the drone. He manually defused and removed the drone's warhead from the destroyed wall.
After that, specialists in radiation, chemical, and biological protection from the SES joined the work. They checked the remains of the drone for hazardous substances and radiation levels. Only after safety was confirmed was the munition handed over to pyrotechnicians for transportation and destruction at a specially designated site
