In June, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that a potential American operation in Cuba could develop along the lines of the rapid seizure of power in Venezuela that occurred earlier this year.
Recently, Cuba accused the United States of waging a "multilevel and unconventional war" through an oil embargo that caused an energy crisis. The U.S. rejected the accusations, calling the statements propaganda.
