As a result of the enemy strike, part of the population of Sumy was left without electricity and gas supply, and a hospital building was damaged. Russian troops carried out 12 strikes in the region overnight, including missile and KABs. This was reported on Tuesday by the Sumy RMA, UNN reports.

"One person was preliminarily wounded as a result of an enemy air strike. A power line, a gas pipeline, a hospital building, and several cars were damaged. A part of the population of Sumy was left without electricity and gas supply," the RMA reported on Telegram.
All the necessary services are working at the site, as indicated. The consequences of the enemy attack are being eliminated.

According to the RMA, at night and in the morning, Russians fired 12 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. "23 explosions were recorded," the report said.
Sumy, Khotyn, Yunakivka, Bilopil, Vorozhbianske, Krasnopil and Berezivka communities were reportedly shelled:
- Krasnopilska community: the enemy fired from mortars (6 explosions). There were also air strikes with KAB (2 explosions).
- Khotyn community: airstrike with KAB (3 explosions).
- Vorozhbianske community: a KAB air strike was carried out (1 explosion).
- Sumy community: KAB air strikes (2 explosions) were recorded.
- Bilopilska community: Russians conducted air strikes with KAB (2 explosions).
- Berezivska community: a missile strike (1 explosion) and an air strike with KAB (2 explosions).
- Yunakivska community: KAB air strikes were recorded (5 explosions).
