Police in Odesa detained a 20-year-old man on suspicion of setting fire to a car. This was reported by the police of the Odesa region, UNN reports .

It is noted that the other day Odessa police received a message that a Volkswagen Touareg car was burning on Akademika Sakharova Street near high-rise buildings. The son of the owner of the SUV called rescuers, who extinguished the fire.

During the day, investigators found that a 20-year-old local resident was involved in the fire.

While searching for" easy earnings", a man responded on a social network to an offer to set fire to someone else's car. At the request of the curator, he doused the corresponding car with a flammable liquid and set it on fire. The attacker recorded his actions on video to confirm the completed " task,

However, the young man did not receive a" reward". He was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional damage to someone else's property committed by arson).
