Since the beginning of the day on April 9, 111 combat clashes have been recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. Of these, 26 are in the Pokrovsky direction, 21 in the Lyman direction and 15 in the Toretsk direction. According to operational information as of 22:00, Wednesday, April 09, 111 battles took place at the front.
Russian invaders launched 62 air strikes using 105 KABs. In addition, the Russians involved 1068 kamikaze drones and carried out almost 5,000 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements.
Situation by directions
In the Kharkiv direction, our troops repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, Kamyanka, and Fyholivka during the day. Two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two assaults in the area of Zahryzove and Nova Kruzlyakivka.
In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions 21 times during the day in the areas of Nadiya, Katerynivka, Myrne, Serhiivka, Nove, Kolodyazi and in the directions of Hrekivka and Novomykhailivka. 11 clashes are still ongoing.
Ukrainian defenders repelled six enemy assault actions in the direction of Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka and Verkhnyokamyanske in the Siversky direction.
In the Kramatorsk direction, two combat clashes have been recorded near Chasovoy Yar, one of which is still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 15 times. The occupiers concentrated their main efforts near Toretsk, Druzhba, Dachne, Leonidivka and Shcherbynivka. Currently, one combat engagement is ongoing.
Since the beginning of this day, in the Pokrovsky direction, the occupying units have tried 26 times to break through our defense near the settlements of Kalynove, Shevchenko, Zelene Pole, Yelyzavetivka, Andriivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Kotlyarivka and Bohdanivka. Three clashes are still ongoing.
Today, in this direction, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 232 occupiers, 128 of them irrevocably. Also, one tank, six infantry fighting vehicles, one BRM, nine vehicles, four motorcycles, two satellite communication terminals, two guns were destroyed, and one gun, two motorcycles and one infantry fighting vehicle of the occupiers were damaged
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked three times near Kostiantynopol and in the direction of the settlement of Bahatyr. Two attacks have already been repelled.
In the Huliaipol direction, the enemy carried out five attacks in the area of Novoselka and in the direction of Shevchenko. Huliaipole was attacked by Russian occupiers with KABs and NARs.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled six enemy assaults in the area of Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Lobkove and Shcherbaky.
In the operational zone in the Kurakhove direction, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 19 attacks by Russian invaders during the day. In addition, the enemy launched 46 air strikes using 74 guided bombs, and also carried out 351 artillery shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems.
The situation has not changed significantly in other directions.
