The Norwegian government will allocate $7.4 million to support UNICEF programs in Ukraine, which will allow it to continue to provide vital assistance to Ukrainian children and their families affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, UNN reports.

"The Government of Norway allocates $7.4 million to support UNICEF programs in Ukraine. Increased funding for the programs of the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine will allow us to continue to provide vital assistance to Ukrainian children and their families affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation," the statement said.

The ministry noted that Norway is the fifth largest financial partner of UNICEF in responding to humanitarian challenges in Ukraine.

"Thanks to this partnership, Ukrainian children and their families receive support in the areas of child protection, education, healthcare, social services, water supply and sanitation," the Ministry of Reintegration added.
