North Korea has said it is ready to "completely destroy" its enemies in the event of war when leader Kim Jong Un gives the order.
The statements were made by high-ranking military officials, including Army Colonel Ri Un-ryong and Navy Captain Yoo Kyong-song, during a meeting on Saturday to mark the 71st anniversary of the Korean War armistice. They expressed a "flare-up of hatred" toward the United States and South Korea. Kim Jong-un himself attended the meeting.
