Israel has ceased strikes on Iran due to the successful deterrence of the terrorist regime. Netanyahu discussed the situation with Trump and threatened a forceful response.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Monday that he has ceased strikes on Iran, claiming that the Israel Defense Forces' strikes have deterred the Islamic Republic from further attacks, reports UNN with reference to CNN.

"At this moment, the fire on this front is localized – after we struck the terrorist regime in Tehran, it stopped attacking us," Netanyahu said in a televised statement.

However, in a video address, he also said that the state would respond with "force" to future attacks.

In the video address, Netanyahu said that the fighting had stopped after Israel "struck the terrorist regime in Tehran."

He added: "If Iran makes a mistake and attacks us again, we will respond with force."

"Israel has every right to self-defense, and we exercise it as necessary," he said.

In the televised statement, he also acknowledged his conversations with U.S. President Donald Trump, with whom it was confirmed he has spoken since the strikes began on Sunday.
