At the end of March, as noted, colleagues from the Defense Forces turned to the Commander of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, for assistance.

"The life of a Ukrainian citizen, Serhiy (name changed), who saved our soldiers and transmitted valuable intelligence data under occupation conditions, was under threat. Serhiy was later released, but he found himself trapped: without documents, under constant surveillance by the FSB and the 'commandant's office,' which critically complicated any possibility of movement," the Navy stated.

By order of the Vice Admiral, the Navy's special reconnaissance unit 'Angels' conducted a risky and complex operation. Ukrainian scouts achieved the impossible — evacuating the man from the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region to territory controlled by Ukraine,

- the Navy reported.

The Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized: "This operation is further proof that Ukraine fights for every one of its citizens. We do not leave our people behind, wherever they may be."
