The Munich prosecutor's office does not fully rule out political motivation for the murder of two Ukrainian soldiers in the German city of Murnau am Stafelsee, in which a Russian is suspected. This is reported by the Süddeutsche Zeitung with reference to the Munich prosecutor's office, UNN reports.
The motives for the crime are currently unclear, although political motivation cannot be ruled out, and the investigation is ongoing in all directions

On April 27, two Ukrainians were found with stab woundsin a shopping center in the German city of Murnau. The 36-year-old man died on the spot from his serious injuries, and the second 23-year-old victim died in the evening in a nearby hospital.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine later reported that, according to preliminary data, the killed Ukrainian citizens in the German city of Murnau am Stafelsee were military personnel undergoing medical rehabilitation.
The 57-year-old Russian detained in the case of the murder of two Ukrainians in the German city of Murnau is currently in custody. An investigating judge issued an arrest warrant for him at the request of the prosecutor's office.
