Thousands of people protest in Tbilisi against the proposed law on "foreign agents," blocking traffic and rallying outside the parliament.

A new action against the draft law "On Foreign Agents" has begun in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, UNN reports with reference to the Telegram channel Paper Kartuli.

People began to gather near the parliament building on Rustaveli Avenue. Traffic on the avenue itself is blocked.

Protesters are holding flags of Georgia and the European Union and posters against the adoption of the law "On Foreign Agents.

It is currently known that more than 5,000 people attended the rally, but the number of participants continues to grow.

Protesters chant "Sakartvelo" and "No to the Russian law". Politicians, students, and activists give speeches.

Police officers are mobilized around the parliament building.
