"More than 37 thousand Ukrainian families received baby boxes from the state

More than 37 thousand Ukrainian families received a "baby package" in 2023. Parents from the capital and the capital region used the service the most. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy, UNN reports .

This year, 37,369 families received a "baby package". Of these, 37 011 of them were provided directly in maternity hospitals, 378 - at the place of residence.  Most of the packages were distributed in Kyiv and the region (5,764), as well as in Lviv (2677), Dnipropetrovs'k (2608),  Odesa (2478), Zhytomyr (2065) regions.

The Ministry of Social Policy reported that not all Ukrainian parents are aware that they can receive a "baby package" from the state at the birth of a baby. baby box". The so-called baby box is issued directly in the maternity ward.

The set includes more than 90 different items and products for the care of for newborns. The cost of one of these baby care packages is UAH 6778.
