French President Emmanuel Macron expects progress from the new Hungarian government on the issue of the EU loan for Ukraine amounting to 90 billion euros. This was reported by 24.hu, informs UNN.

During a visit to Gdansk (Poland), Macron also stated that the formation of a new government marks a new era not only in Hungary but also in Europe.
We can be optimistic about the progress that will be made on the 90 billion euro loan for Ukraine. All of this is very positive for Ukraine, as well as for us and our credibility.
The latter, in turn, spoke about the great support given to Péter Magyar in the fight for the restoration of democracy in Hungary. The Polish politician called it a very positive sign that "Hungary will be governed by a European, a democrat who is aware of common geopolitical interests."
Tusk noted that Péter Magyar has already appealed to Poland with a request to continue helping Hungarians "fully return to European daily life."

The European Commission called the initial talks this weekend with the new government in Hungary "extremely constructive" and hinted at the new Hungarian government's position on Ukraine.
