A scheme for the fictitious employment of men at a lyceum to secure military deferments has been uncovered in Lutsk. The losses to the state budget amount to over 3 million hryvnias.

In Volyn, law enforcement officers have uncovered a criminal scheme in one of the lyceums. Officials of one of Lutsk's educational institutions are involved in organizing the scheme. This is reported by UNN with reference to a report from the National Police.

Details

It is noted that the fictitious employment scheme was primarily used for the "reservation" (deferment) of men of conscription age. By entering false data into the relevant state systems, they received a deferment from conscription during martial law.

In addition, the "employees" received salaries and bonuses, a portion of which they handed over to the organizers of the scheme. In reality, these people worked in various sectors—from trade to the service industry—and had no connection to the educational process,

- the report states.

It is indicated that as a result of this scheme, the state budget suffered losses amounting to over 3 million hryvnias, of which almost 1 million UAH was transferred by the pseudo-teachers directly to the bank accounts of the suspects.
