Police detained a criminal group for arms and drug trafficking in Kherson region. This was reported by the head of the Kherson city military administration Roman Mrochko, reports UNN.

As part of the anti-crime operation, law enforcement officers in Kherson region uncovered a criminal group involved in the sale of weapons and drugs.
According to the investigation, the group operated in the region, supplying assault rifles, pistols, explosives, as well as amphetamine and cannabis.
During the special operation, four men aged 32 to 43 were detained.
During the searches of their residences, police found and seized drugs, money obtained by criminal means, as well as weapons and ammunition. In total, 69 packages with a crystalline substance, 5 rolls with a substance of plant origin, 200 rounds of ammunition for automatic weapons, 5 grenades, a pistol, and scales were seized.

A custody was chosen as a measure of restraint against the criminals, and they face up to 10 years in prison. The necessary investigative actions are under way, the origin of the seized weapons, ammunition and drugs is being established.
