According to the statement, traffic management through the Strait of Hormuz will be carried out by the Persian Gulf Waterway Management Authority (PGSA). The costs of transit processing for two months will be covered by the Iranian government.

In Tehran, they stated that PGSA has been tasked with promptly processing requests for vessel passage through the strait. Iran is also conducting mine clearance of the waterway in accordance with the terms of the concluded agreement.
