Over 70 combat engagements took place in the Ukrainian frontline over the last day. Russians are advancing in 7 directions. The most active areas are in the Bakhmut and Novopavlivka sectors of the front. This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine , UNN reports.
Over the last day, 71 combat engagements were registered. In total, the enemy launched 4 missile and 43 air strikes, fired 43 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas.

In the Kupyansk sector, our defenders repelled four Russian attacks near Novosergiyivka.
In the Liman sector, the Defense Forces repelled the enemy in three attacks near Nevske in Luhansk region and Terny in Donetsk.
In the Bakhmut sector, our soldiers repelled 19 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, as well as Vyymka, Rozdolivka, Chasovyi Yar, Novyi and Klishchiyivka, Donetsk region. It is noted that the occupants stormed Ukrainian positions with the support of aviation.
In the Avdiivka sector, also under the cover of military aircraft, the invaders tried to force our units out of their positions near Semenivka, Novobakhmutivka, Ocheretyne, Pervomayske and Novokalynove. Our defenders withstood nine enemy attacks and did not give up their positions.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the Russians near Vodiane, Pobeda and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region. The occupants unsuccessfully stormed the area 15 times on Thursday, using air support.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy, supported by aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders three times near Staromayorske, Donetsk region.
In the Kherson sector, the enemy continues to attack the positions of our troops near Krynky, Kherson region. On Thursday, our defenders repelled two Russian assaults there.
