Today in Uzhhorod, around 6:30 p.m. on Oleg Kutsyn Street, several children approached police officers. They reported hearing gunshots from the territory of the Shakhtynskyi forest and seeing a suspicious man. Law enforcement officers immediately arrived at the indicated location. While inspecting the area, they heard gunshots again.
According to preliminary information, one of the bullets may have hit an abandoned building, causing a fire that spread to the forest area. A special police operation is ongoing at the scene. Additional police forces, including KORD special unit officers, have been involved in the search and detention of the armed man.
