A drone attack on the Omsk Refinery, thousands of kilometers from the border, has been recorded in Russia, reports UNN.

The monitoring Telegram channel Exilenova+ reported a strike on the Omsk Refinery. "Thousands of kilometers from home," the message states.

This information has not been officially confirmed. Earlier, the region's governor, Vitaliy Khotsenko, warned residents about the drone threat. "Enemy UAVs have been shot down over the Omsk region. The consequences of the attack are being clarified," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Telegram channels are publishing videos and photos of a suspected fire at the facility.

Co-owner and chief designer of the company Fire Point, Denis Shtilerman, wrote on social media X that the Omsk Refinery is welcoming the new FP-1.

The Omsk Refinery is called one of the largest gasoline producers in Russia, and that every eighth liter of gasoline in the Russian Federation is produced at this plant.

Russian media write that today the Omsk airport was closed to aircraft for the first time due to UAVs. It is reported that this is over 2,000 km from the border.
