In Russia, the systematic militarization of children and youth continues, involving them in training for future participation in the war. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CCD), as relayed by UNN.
Details
It is noted that in Murmansk, during the "Last Bell" graduation celebrations and with the support of local authorities, a stand was operated by the sanctioned "Warrior" center, which is engaged in the so-called "patriotic education" of youth.
During the event, schoolchildren were effectively recruited for service in the "unmanned forces" and taught how to operate combat drones
The Center emphasizes that this is not an isolated incident, but part of the Kremlin's purposeful state policy to prepare a new generation for war. For instance, it was previously reported that Russia plans to award applicants additional points for university admission for drone piloting skills.
"Through such measures, the Russian authorities normalize the involvement of children and adolescents in military structures and prepare a new generation for war. Such practices are further evidence of the degradation of the Russian Federation's humanitarian policy, where children are viewed exclusively as a resource for continuing military aggression," the CCD concludes.
Recall
The Russian Federation is expanding its network of "Avangard" and "Warrior" centers for the militarization of youth. More than 50 billion rubles have already been spent on preparing schoolchildren for war.
