Four children aged 10, 11, 12 and 14 held and inflicted bodily injuries on their 10-year-old acquaintance on the territory of an unfinished building. Currently, law enforcement officers have opened three criminal proceedings. This is reported by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets in his Telegram channel, reports UNN.

According to the Ombudsman, this unfortunate incident occurred in the city of Zinkiv, Poltava region.
I immediately instructed my Representative in the Poltava region, Vladyslav Nosenko, to find out all the circumstances of the case. He held meetings with the parents of the injured boy and organized a working meeting in the Zinkiv TG with the participation of the leadership of the Poltava RVA, city authorities, law enforcement agencies, the children's service, the education department, psychologists and the administration of educational institutions where the children study
It is noted that law enforcement officers have opened three criminal proceedings under the articles "Torture", "Production or distribution of works that promote the cult of violence" and "Extortion". The injured party is provided with all necessary psychological and legal assistance.
Dmytro Lubinets stressed that according to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, every child has the right to respect for their dignity.
The publication of a video showing a child's suffering grossly violates this right, reducing it to an object of "sensation." Such materials can harm the child, exacerbate their psychological trauma, cause stigmatization and additional pressure on the family
He called on everyone to respect the rights of the child and refrain from distributing materials that may harm him.
