On the night of December 12, a 23-year-old resident of Prykarpattia set fire to a police car of the Kosiv District Police Department. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office, according to UNN.

CCTV cameras recorded the man pouring flammable liquid on the car and setting it on fire. The suspect was detained, and the incendiary mixture and his cell phone were seized. The man confessed that he had acted on the order of a representative of the Russian Federation, with whom he communicated via the Telegram messenger.
For setting fire to the car, he received a money transfer in the amount of UAH 8000.
A resident of Prykarpattia region was served a notice of suspicion of intentional damage to another's property by arson (Part 2 Art. 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The issue of choosing a custody as a measure of restraint is now being decided. Law enforcement officers are also working to identify the “customers” of the arson, who are likely to be operating from the territory of Russia.
