Details
According to the investigation, on the evening of May 1, a conflict arose between a 23-year-old man and his wife. During the argument, the woman announced that she planned to go to her mother's house with her young child.
The 47-year-old father-in-law intervened in the conflict - according to the investigation, he threw a cable around the woman's neck and strangled her. The son did not stop his father and helped conceal the crime.
After the murder, the suspects tied the victim's hands and feet, pulled a plastic bag over her head, transported the body in a utility wheelbarrow to a household plot, wrapped it in agrofibre, and buried it in the garden.
For several days, the men tried to create the appearance of the woman's disappearance. In particular, the husband contacted the police with a missing person report, sent messages to his wife's phone asking her to return home, and transferred funds to her bank card with the payment description "come back."
On May 8, law enforcement officers discovered the victim's body on the territory of the household.
According to the expert examination, the woman's death was caused by mechanical asphyxiation due to compression of the neck organs by a ligature, the Prosecutor General's Office summarized.
