Since the beginning of 2025, Ukrainians have purchased almost 9,000 used cars from the United States of America. This is reported in Telegram by the Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers of Ukraine (Ukrautoprom), reports UNN.

In the first quarter of this year, 8,984 used cars from the USA underwent their first registration in Ukraine. The largest share of these cars (42%) were electric vehicles.
Gasoline cars came in second place (41%), followed by hybrid, diesel and cars without gas cylinder equipment (LPG) – 7 and 5 percent, respectively. The average age of used American cars that ended up in Ukraine from January to March 2025 is 6 years.
The most popular models in Ukraine are TESLA Model Y (1176 units), TESLA Model 3 (1119 units), FORD Escape (636 units).
In general, Tesla models account for almost 30% of all used car purchases from the USA for the reporting month.

In March 2025, Ukrainians bought 4,680 electric vehicles. This is 6% more than last year: the most popular were BYD Song Plus and TESLA Model Y.
At the same time, prices for used Teslas in the USA fell by 7% year-on-year in March, and in Great Britain the drop was 15%. The price decrease occurs against the background of suspicions about damage to the brand due to the actions of President Donald Trump.
