At the frontline, 149 combat engagements were registered over the past day. Russian troops were most active in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions. In the latter, the enemy tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops 32 times in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka and Paraskoviivka. This is stated in the report of the General Staff as of 8:00 a.m. on July 25, UNN reports .
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched four missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using six missiles, 58 air strikes (including 79 combat aircraft), carried out 4,811 attacks, 144 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery conducted 13 air strikes on enemy troops, destroying a command center, an artillery system, two air defense systems and one enemy radar.

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy continued assault operations. Eight combat engagements took place in the vicinity of Hlyboke, Tykhove and Sotnytsia Kozachok.
In the Kupyansk sector, the number of combat engagements amounted to eight over the last day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near three localities. The enemy focused its actions in the areas of Sinkivka, Stelmakhivka and Petropavlivka.
In the Liman sector, our troops repelled 15 occupants' assaults in the areas of Makiivka, Nevske and Serebryansky forest. The enemy actively used attack aircraft in the area.
In the Northern sector , Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled nine attacks near Verkhnekamianske and Ivano-Daryivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 12 enemy attempts to break through our defenses in the areas of Chasovyi Yar, Novyi and in the direction of Novomarkove.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy concentrated its efforts near the settlements of Pivnichne and New York, where, with the support of aviation, it launched seven attacks on the positions of our troops.
In the Pokrovsky sector , our defenders repelled 38 attacks in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Novoselivka Persha, Novooleksandrivka, Vovche and Karlivka, where the invaders tried to force Ukrainian units out of their positions, actively using attack and bombing aircraft.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka and Paraskoviivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops 32 times.
In the Vremivsk sector, the occupiers made 13 unsuccessful attacks on our positions near Kostiantynivka and Vodiane. They were firing uncontrolled aerial missiles at Vuhledar and in the area of Urozhayne.
Three combat engagements took place in the Orikhivsk sector near Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka and Novodarivka.
On the Prydniprovsky direction, the Russians were defeated during four of their attacks on the defensive positions of our defenders.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions . The operational situation has not changed significantly.
The enemy maintains a military presence on the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation.
"Our soldiers continue to actively inflict significant losses in equipment and manpower on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy's offensive potential along the entire front line and in the rear," the General Staff said.
