294 children have already been taken from the settlements of Kupyansk district in Kharkiv region, where the forced evacuation of families with children was announced. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov during a briefing, according to a UNN correspondent.
We have an ongoing evacuation from Kupyansk district, we have already evacuated 294 children. In fact, 4 more are left. I hope very much. I hope that this week we will actually complete the evacuation from this area
Details
Given the military situation, according to Sinegubov, other frontline settlements will probably be considered for mandatory evacuation of children and families. In particular, from the part of Kupyansk that is under constant shelling.
Currently, the Kupyansk direction remains the most difficult in the Kharkiv region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 12 enemy assault attacks in a day. There were no losses of territory, emphasized Syniehubov. However, a new accumulation of Russian troops and equipment is being recorded there.
According to the head of the Kharkiv JFO, this is due to the fact that the enemy regularly suffers heavy losses in manpower, equipment and weapons. However, the occupiers replenish their reserves accordingly in order to scale up their assault operations.
To recap
Due to the security situation in a number of settlements in Kharkiv region, the forced evacuation of 275 children with their families was introduced.
On November 17, Oleh Syniehubov reported that 15 more children were to be evacuated from dangerous communities in Kupiansk district.
