Photos without the Ferris wheel in Podil were shared by local public pages and media on Saturday. However, metal structures were still visible in videos from the scene.
The wheel was brought to Podil from Paris for the New Year holidays at the end of 2017 and installed. Its height was 43 meters, according to the report on the tourist hub of the Kyiv City State Administration.
In December 2024, the Kyiv City State Administration indicated that the Ferris wheel in Podil was closed at the request of the prosecutor's office. The owner was required to dismantle the attraction on their own.
