Zaporizhzhia plans to open its first underground schools by the end of October. Currently, 6 such schools are being built in the city and region. In addition, similar institutions are being built in different districts of the region. This was stated by the head of the Zaporizhzhia RMA Ivan Fedorov, reports UNN.

According to him, currently 6 underground schools are being built simultaneously. Some of them are at the stage of high readiness, while others are at the initial stages.
The head of the RMA added that such schools are being built not only in Zaporizhzhia, but also in rural communities - Kushuhumska, Shyrokivska and Bilenkivska.
