Polish farmers have temporarily stopped blocking checkpoints on the border with Ukraine, but the protests may resume in December in a larger format. This was stated by one of the leaders of the protesters, Roman Kondrov, after a meeting with Polish Minister of Agriculture Czeslaw Sekerski, reports Polska Agencja Prasowa, according to UNN.

During the November 24 talks, the farmers agreed to submit their proposals to the Ministry of Agriculture by Tuesday, November 26. Minister Sekersky, in turn, promised to prepare a response by December 10.
The Minister noted that all farmers' demands cannot be fulfilled simultaneously, as they require the adoption of a number of regulations. To this end, an implementation schedule with deadlines will be developed. Kondrov emphasized that the farmers are suspending their protests for now, but are not giving up their intentions.
If the agreements are not fulfilled in December, they promise large-scale actions that will cover the entire eastern border of Poland.
