The European Union should create its own security organization. It should be in addition to NATO. This was stated by the head of the European Parliament Roberta Mecola in an interview with elMundo, UNN reports.

Mecola noted that Europe is on the verge of an extremely unstable situation due to the full-scale war in Ukraine unleashed by Russia. She emphasized that the European Union should be prepared for anything, regardless of who enters the White House after the US presidential election.
