Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 65 times. The enemy is actively operating in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions, UNN reports, citing the General Staff's situation report.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today in the Sumy region, the settlements of Tovstodubove, Ryzhivka, Bachivsk, Korenok, Bezzalivka, Novovasylivka, Kozache, Neskuchne, Sopych, Ulanove, Vyntorivka, Volfyne, Iskryskivshchyna, Rohizne, and Vovkivka came under fire; in the Chernihiv region – Kliusy, Zarichchia, Kryvusha
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, four combat engagements took place, while the enemy carried out 35 attacks on settlements and our troops' positions, four of them using multiple rocket launchers.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units six times near the settlements of Starytsia and Prylipka and toward Izbytske and Ternova. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, today the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces twice toward the settlement of Kivsharivka and near Novoiehorivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled ten attempts by the invaders to advance toward Lyman and Drobysheve and in the areas of Kolodiazi and Stavky.
In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces successfully halted two attempts by the invaders to advance near the settlement of Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted no offensive operations.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, our defenders stopped five attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, and Stepanivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have attempted 18 times to push our troops from their positions near the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward the settlements of Vilne and Serhiivka. Two combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, our defenders stopped one enemy attack toward the settlement of Zlahoda.
In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled 17 enemy attacks near the settlements of Rybne, Dobropillia, Pryluky, and Zaliznychne and toward Novyi Zaporizhzhia, Huliaipole, Olenokostiantynivka, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to advance five times in the areas of the settlements of Stepnohirsk, Shcherbaky, Plavni, and Mali Shcherbaky. One combat engagement is currently ongoing.
There are currently no significant changes in the situation in the other directions. No attempts by the enemy to advance have been recorded, the General Staff concluded.
