Functionaries of the UOC-MP organized an underground production of alcoholic beverages in the Kyiv and Rivne regions. Almost 20,000 liters of counterfeit alcohol were seized from illegal circulation.

Law enforcement officers exposed and stopped the activities of an underground production of alcoholic beverages in the Kyiv and Rivne regions, organized by functionaries of the UOC.
A group of people established mass production of counterfeit grape wine in Kyiv and Rivne regions. For illegal activities, the perpetrators purchased the necessary equipment, raw materials and materials, and sold alcohol that is dangerous to life and health in retail and wholesale batches
As a result of 13 searches at the addresses of illegal production, in vehicles and at the place of residence of the perpetrators, almost 20,000 liters of counterfeit alcohol, equipment for bottling wine products, draft records, computer equipment, financial and economic documentation, etc. were seized.
The estimated value of excise goods is UAH 1.8 million. Pre-trial investigation is ongoing. The full circle of persons involved in illegal activities is being established.
