The Ministry of Defense notes that there is no regulatory framework for issuing electronic subpoenas, and therefore no legal basis for this yet. This was stated by the spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Lazutkin in an interview with NV, UNN reports.
According to Lazutkin, there is currently no legal framework for issuing electronic subpoenas.
"There are no legal grounds for this yet. Technically, the program developers can do this in certain terms. But there must be a legal basis for this. It depends not on us, not on the Ministry," says the Defense Ministry spokesman.
He notes that there is no need for electronic subpoenas, as people have updated their contact information, including phone numbers and addresses.
"Now, according to the current regulatory framework, it is possible to send summonses by registered mail with a list of attachments. Accordingly, this is the mechanism that will be used. Electronic subpoenas are out of the question for now," said Lazutkin.
Recall
The General Staff reported that starting from July 17, calls can be sent via Ukrposhta to the addresses indicated during military registration, which simplifies the procedure for territorial recruiting stations.
