Drone attacks hit Cherkasy: 8-year-old boy killed, injured reported

An 8-year-old boy was killed and 12 people were injured in a UAV attack in Cherkasy. Four high-rise buildings were damaged, and air defense forces shot down nine enemy targets.

The Russian army attacked Cherkasy with attack drones. As a result of the attack, an 8-year-old boy died from injuries, and 12 people were wounded. This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration Ihor Taburets, as reported by UNN.

Regarding the situation in Cherkasy region. Towards evening, Russia directed attack UAVs at the region. Our defenders neutralized nine targets

The head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration added that the attack had tragic consequences in the regional center. 

An 8-year-old boy died from his injuries. Condolences to his family... Nine more people were taken to the hospital, including a child. Three local residents received assistance at the scene

According to him, at least four high-rise buildings were damaged as a result of the UAV fall. The area is still being surveyed.
